Case in point is Jo’s Chicken Inato which is just a stone’s throw away from the Provincial Capitol. Located along Fuente Osmena (Osmena Blvd) in Capitol Site, Cebu, this popular restaurant chain serves some of the best grilled delicacies we’ve grown to love.

Getting There

Buses with or without air-conditioning leave Cebu South Bus Station to Moalboal throughout the day. The trip to Moalboal takes three to four hours by bus.

Air-conditioned L-300 vans with terminals near the buses are also available. These vans have no schedules but leave only when they are full. A trip to Moalboal in these vans is shorter and more comfortable due to the lesser number of passengers. The vans charge slightly higher rates than buses.

Upon reaching the town center of Moalboal (the church area across the public market), a 10-minute tricycle ride will take guests to Bonita Oasis. Guests may also call Bonita for pick up.

Bonita also organizes van hires from Cebu City or Mactan International Airport to Moalboal upon request.

Sumisid Lodge is one of the first dive lodges at Panagsama Beach in Moalboal. It has been operating since 1981 when dive sites in Cebu are virtually unknown to the dive world. The resort has a beautiful view of the ocean with the island of Negros just across the sea. The view from the lodge is a refreshing one after a tiring dive, snorkel or swim in the turquoise water of the Moalboal.

The lodge sits right next to SeaQuest Dive Center and it would be hard to miss from there. It has very casual and laid back atmosphere. Guess dressed in simple t-shirts and shorts can get together at mealtimes. The resort’s restaurant is popular of its buffet. It’s kitchen has built up quite a reputation over the years, so make sure you sample the delectable dishes. If that’s not enough for you, HANNAH’S PLACE, European food ‘a la carte’ is just a few steps away.

The lodge is build entirely from native materials such as bamboo and woods and has a very cozy, homily atmosphere! It further features a lounge area, which doubles as a dining room, as well as a big outdoor verandah where you can sit, relax, read a book, enjoy a drink and from where you walk straight onto the beach.
